Rules for your child's apps and games
Give every app one of three statuses: allowed, limited or blocked. The rules apply at the same time on your child's computer, phone and tablet. A newly installed app can stay closed until you approve it; you can close games, video or social media all at once at set hours on the computer and Android phone.

Ask my parent for permissionAllowed, limited, blocked
Programs needed for homework always stay open. Games open only at the times you choose or within the daily limit. Blocked apps never open. On the phone you can also give each app its own daily limit, for example YouTube 30 minutes a day.
New apps are checked with you
An app Atlas doesn't recognise counts as limited the first time and shows up in the panel as “waiting for a decision”. Atlas makes a suggestion; you apply suggestions in one click.
ChatGPT and AI chats
AI chat apps like ChatGPT and Gemini have their own category. Block them or open them only at certain times. For homework, Atlas's own tutor gives a hint, not the answer.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to enter the apps on the computer one by one?
No. Atlas finds the apps on your child's device itself and lists them in the panel with readable names. You only choose their status.
Do I set the rules for each device separately?
No. Rules belong to the child; the computer, phone and tablet use the same rules. You can also block an app for all your children at once.
What happens if my child opens a blocked app?
The app closes and your child sees why. They can ask for permission with one tap; the request arrives on your phone.
How do I prepare my child for social media?
In the social media workshop your child thinks through imaginary messages, contact requests and photo sharing. There are no points and choices are not stored; you see the discussion questions for finished scenarios.
