Not secret monitoring, but open rules
Your child sees Atlas and knows what is shown to you. Trust works better than secret monitoring.
Family screen agreement
A short lesson comes before games
What does my family see?
- Which apps and websites you use and for how long
- Your quiz and lesson results
- Your requests for extra time
- Your messages, passwords and page content stay hidden
“What does my family see?”
On your child's screen, a page explains what their family can and can't see. Messages, passwords and page content are never shown.

Atlas writes out the current rules in plain language. You read them with your child; when the rules change, Atlas reminds you to read them again.
Alerts for worrying signs
If your child writes something worrying to the Atlas tutor or in a piece of writing, you get a notification. Babysitter and grandparent accounts can only approve requests.
Frequently asked questions
Does Atlas read my child's messages?
No. Atlas doesn't see messages in WhatsApp or similar apps; it only sees the app's name and the time.
Can my child uninstall Atlas?
Atlas is protected against uninstalling. If your child wants to remove it, it reaches you as a request.
Where is our data stored?
On servers in Europe. More details in our privacy policy.
How do I record an incident and raise it with school?
In the incident log you write what happened and the follow-up steps yourself; the text is stored encrypted and your child does not see it. From what you select you can copy a summary for the school meeting. Atlas does not read messages and sends nothing to the school by itself.
