Screen time limits and bedtime
You set the daily screen time, Atlas keeps count. Before time runs out, your child gets a warning, saves their game and everything closes without an argument.
5 minutes left
Time for each day
Give each day its own limit, for example 1 hour on weekdays and 2 hours on Saturday and Sunday. Time is shared across all devices; switching from phone to computer doesn't add more.
Friendly warnings
10, 5 and 1 minute before the end, your child gets a warning. At the end they have 30 seconds to save their game. No sudden shutdown, no lost game.
Bedtime
At bedtime the screens turn off and come back on by themselves in the morning. You set the times per day and can allow apps like sleep music.
Frequently asked questions
How much screen time is right?
It depends on age and family. Our guide to screen time by age in the parent resources is a good starting point; in Atlas you can change the limit at any time.
Does time spent on homework count too?
No. Allowed apps (e.g. Word, the school platform) don't come off game time.
What if I want to give extra time one day?
You do it in seconds from the panel or by approving your child's request.
